she ran is a laser engraved flip book that measures 4.5" x 3" x .125", 2025, and was inspired by a sentence I read in a Ray Bradbury novel. I altered the sentence for my purposes, and it is the text etched on the first page of the book. The book consists of 8 consecutive laser engraved images of a girl running. Each image is lighter than the image that precedes it, suggesting that as she seemingly runs in place, she runs away.
